The Nezinscot Valley Kids after school program is a school-based daycare where children can choose from age appropriate activities designed around their interest, which provides practice in the basic skills of reading, math, science social studies, language arts and computers. Each afternoon includes homework time, structured activities such as arts and crafts, educational games, etc and unstructured free time including outdoor play, gym time and more.

NVK students involved in other activities held at the school are able to attend these activities directly from NVK and return to the program. Some students attend NVK each day while others attend only when they have other activities to attend.

Rules are kept to a minimum and follow school regulations. Basic rules for safety, health and respect for others are followed at all time. Students Kindergarten through Grade 6 may attend NVK. NVK is open 2:20 to 6pm each school day. We are not open on holidays or if school is unexpectedly canceled such as a snow day cancellation. NVK is open on scheduled early release days.
